Change Management & The Us Health Care Debate: A Case Study

I took care of myself too. But despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, one day, after my children had grown, I discovered a lump in my breast. Every day it grew noticeably larger. I couldn’t have known, but i suspected, that i was dealing with an aggressive form of breast cancer.

Legislators home for summer recess are having a hard time talking to their constituents in public. When they attempt to have a public meeting about health care, they get shouted down. When they attempt to appear in public, they get shouted down. It doesn’t seem to matter which side of the debate the lawmakers fall on. Anti-reform conservatives are coming out of the woodwork to help the insurance companies and hospitals keep their death grip on Americans’ finances.

The sad hypocrisy of what’s going on right now. The left is saying it’s the right. The right is saying that’s stupid and insulting to believe that what’s going on in the media convinces anybody to pick up a gun.

Once again, Obama held a town hall meeting to try and sell his product he calls health care reform. This town hall meeting was another attempt from Obama to pitch his Obamacare product. He has been on television promoting his product more that the sham wow guy.

But the problem actually is not that — you know, the extraordinary steps that we’ve taken over these last one or two years. The real problem is much longer. Even if we had had no fiscal crisis whatsoever, we have a structural deficit. We’re spending more money than we are taking in. We’ve been doing it for the last eight years. When we passed the prescription drug benefit for Medicare, by a Republican Congress, they didn’t pay for it. They didn’t want to raise taxes, but they wanted to get the benefit. That just was red ink. That just went into our structural deficit.

THE PRESIDENT: This raises an important question, because it goes to the overall debate that’s taking place out there right now. When we talk about reform, you hear some opponents of reform saying that somehow we are trying to ration care, or restrict the doctors that you can see, or you name it. Well, that’s what’s going on right now. It’s just that the decisions are being made by the insurance companies.

Billy Mays was different from Obama in many forms. The main difference was that Billy Mays only pitched those products he totally believed worked and would in some way benefit the people. Obama is trying to sell us snake oil.
