Healthcare Reform And Immigration

As with most Americans, we will probably not see a change until 2014 when the law goes into effect. Since we pay more than 9.5 percent of our current income for insurance premiums, we will be eligible for tax credits to pay for premiums, or help with deductibles and co-payments. These tax credits will keep the cost of our insurance premiums below ,750, based on family size and income. Additionally, our out-of-pocket deductibles and co-payments could be capped at 30 percent of cost.

This is the choice: Do you care more about your and the health care of the rest of the people in America or do you care more about the insurance companies making huge profits? For me the choice is obvious. We need health care reform. We need to catch up with the rest of the world in this most basic area.

Note that i said conservatives, and not just Republicans. If all the conservative or “Blue Dog” Democrats stop objections, the Republicans would be a non-issue. Given the way they are self-destructing, that may be a foregone conclusion anyway. Time will tell.

By 2009, PROFIT and POLITICS had become more important than People. Who really cares about the health of a nation when people take a back seat to politics and profit?

It is even larger when you look at what the doctor gets paid. (I told you earlier we would get back to this.) Don’t look at what the doctor bills, Look instead at your EOB, Explanation of Benefits that comes in a few months down the road. Don’t get caught up in the coding and insurance gibberish but instead look good and hard at the amount that was paid to the doctor. In many cases it will be something around .00, up to very rarely, 0.00.

Many of you will look upon me as somebody who is “taking advantage” of our system. Many of you will have the unfortunate mindset that if I am are getting something for free, I must be taking it directly from you. Please be assured that i paid into the system for years and that i too wish I had made a decent income all these years. Sadly I did not.

Yes, an income Tax Refund. They will never collect Social Security, but they can go each year, never getting an U.S. I.D. and get an Income Tax Refund. They never comply with any laws here, they just live here. under the radar. I have seen checks go out for over ,000 for one family. They are dragging 4 or 5 kids in to get their taxes done, can’t speak two words of English, but we are catering to them like crazy. Abusing real Americans in the process.

The Health care Bill requires every American to be covered by health care. Whether or not this is constitutional is being debated even now. There will be a penalty to be paid if someone does not get health care. However, if that penalty is substantially lower than the health care insurance itself, what is to stop people from refusing? Paying the penalty? Getting health care anyway when they get sick? That’s something no one considered when mandating that everyone have this coverage.
